Book One in the Ancient Rite Series

Oracle of the Sun is the first book in the Ancient Rite Series. So far, the author has three books planned. It could end as a trilogy or it could end up being a four book series. We'll just have to wait and see!

We begin our story in the nation of Ku'mat, derived from the word 'kemet' which is a very old word for the country we know today as Egypt.

This story was inspired by the ancient world of Egypt, its rich culture and beliefs, as well as their mythology. Laura has brought all these elements together into a fantastic adventure with magic, curses and her favourite gods from the Egyptian pantheon!

As a reader of fantasy herself, Laura adores stories with deeper meanings and life lessons beneath the surface fantasy plotline. Which is why you can expect themes that explore the meanings of life and death, what makes a person good or evil, life choices and living with those consequences, in her work.
